Clearly Markdown does not collect, store, or transmit any of your data. Your files stay on your Mac.
Clearly Markdown collects no personal information, usage data, analytics, or telemetry of any kind. The app operates entirely offline and locally on your device.
All documents you create or edit are stored locally on your Mac. Clearly Markdown only accesses files you explicitly open. No files are uploaded, synced, or shared with any server.
Clearly Markdown does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks.
The app includes a network entitlement solely for rendering web content in the preview pane (via WKWebView). No data is sent to external servers.
If this policy changes, we will update this page. Given that there is nothing to collect, we don't expect it to.
